We etch mainly in brass, but copper and bronze options are also possible. The thickest metal for through etching is 0.3 mm (0.0118”).
Typical thicknesses are 0.1 mm (0.0039”) for very delicate ornaments; most common are 0.2 mm (0.0079”) and 0.3 mm (0.0118”).
Maximum plate’s dimension we can etch is 130 mm x 190 mm (~ 5.1” x 7.5”)
Photo-Etching Process
Flat rate of € 35 (~ US$ 45) per sheet. That service includes preparation of the plate, exposure to UV rays, and etching itself. Should you need more plates, please contact us for more appropriate quotation, which can suit your need better.
Computer Designed Layout
Should we design and prepare the layout of the plate a charge of € 25 (~ US$ 34) per hour will be applied. This rule does not always apply. If supplied drawing require only small corrections we do not charge spent time.
Packaging and Shipping
We are based in Vienna, Austria and we use Austrian Post services.
We send only as Priority (Air-Mail) and registered letters. Please find below table of postal costs to your location:
